Contract Unix System Administrator | 6 Months | Remote/Hybrid | Up to £500 pd Outside IR35

We are delighted to be supporting an award-winning, Ed-Tech business to recruit a Unix SysAdmin on a 6 month contract.
Our client has created Apps that support children to learn, in a fun and engaging way. Their product has seen great success in the UK and they are now expanding internationally.

Requirements

  • Help with the setup of a bastion server
  • Patching processes that we could implement
  • Hosts without kernel security modules enabled
  • Hosts without intrusion detection installed
  • Hosts vulnerable to Meltdown / SPECTRE
  • ZFS and patching
  • Encryption at rest
  • Build a new DB server
  • Ansible security improvements
  • SSH config


Skills / Experience

  • Experienced Unix Sys Admin,
  • Ideally RHCE Certified,
  • Good communication skills.
