Technical Project Manager Contract – Outside IR35

Technical Project Manager | 6 month contract | Bath/Hybrid | £400 per day Outside IR35

Our client, a growing automotive technology company, is seeking a capable, experienced Project Manager contractor to lead an exciting new R&D project. You will work closely in conjunction with the Technical Lead and engineering team to manage the design and development from late proof-of-concept to production readiness.

Role:

• Creating, maintaining, and driving the project plans, with clear milestones adhering to the company product development process.
• Implementing the PBS, WBS and OBS.
• Implementing cost control measures to deliver to budget.
• Evaluating, quantifying, and mitigating project risks.
• Creating and maintaining accurate reports (relating to cost, schedule, and technical progress).

Requirements:

• Experienced in product R&D environments, covering design and development, prototyping and testing (ideally within a simulator or automotive environment).
• Willing and able to engage with supply chain and technology partners.
• Proven track record in delivering functional hardware.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve success.
• Effective user of MS Office (especially MS Project).
