Research Analyst – £450 – £500 p/day Outside IR35 – 6 Months – Remote Working (once a month to Dover)
Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, a fast growing and highly successful social enterprise. We are looking for an experienced Research Analyst to help with project work to improve and scale their services.
The Research Analyst will conduct market and user research, including customer and user behaviour analysis, research on existing products, and competitor analysis. They will also review the outcomes of the research and discovery phase to ensure that the desired goals and objectives have been achieved and use the data and findings from the review to inform the development of a business case, including a budget proposal and roadmap for the project.
Roles & Responsibilities:
·Identify and analyse pain points in the current operating model
·Define the desired outcomes and research and appraise the options for achieving them.
·Conduct market and user research, including customer and user behaviours analysis, research on existing products, and competitor analysis
·Communicate the progress of the project to relevant stakeholders, and other key decision-makers
·Analyse the data and findings from the research and discovery phase to identify any trends, patterns, or insights relevant to the project
·Identify areas for improvement and develop a plan for addressing any issues or challenges that may have been identified
·Identify the costs associated with the different options being considered for the project
·Analyse the costs and benefits of each option to determine the most cost-effective option/solution
·Consider any potential cost savings or efficiencies that may be achieved through the use of a particular solution
·Review the outcomes of the research and discovery phase to ensure that the desired goals and objectives have been achieved
·Make recommendations on the most cost-effective solution based on the analysis of costs and benefits
·Use the data and findings from the review to inform the development of a business case, including a coherent roadmap and budget proposal for the project
·Present the costing recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including the CEO and other key decision-makers, along with a detailed budget proposal that outlines the costs associated with each option
Essential Skills & Experience:
·Significant experience in research and business analysis(5 years +)
·Experience of developing fully-costed business cases
·Experience of developing roadmaps
·Strong research and analysis skills, including experience with market, competitor and product analysis
·Developing detailed options appraisals
·Financial acumen, budget modelling and costed business cases
