PMO Lead – Finance Transformation

Remote / Outside IR35 / £475-525pd / 6 months

SR2 are currently recruiting for a leading Financial Services business undergoing a key period of transformation and need a PMO Lead to help mature delivery operations across the business.

As PMO Lead, you will take charge of their greenfield PMO function and oversee the delivery of a finance consolidation and system migration (ERP) project.

Core focus will be to establish PMO processes from the ground up (reporting, governance, planning & dashboarding).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead PMO efforts for finance transformation projects.
  • Create and implement PMO functions (reporting, governance, planning) from scratch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
  • Mitigate risks and maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and track project performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in establishing PMO functions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • ERP Experience (Oracle preferred, but SAP, Dynamics, Sage, Xerox accepted).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred.
