Lead Solutions Architect (Infrastructure) required by a global manufacturing company, currently undertaking a divestment programme.
Assignment – Lead Solutions Architect (Infrastructure)
Location – Remote

Rate – £650 to £700 per day (outside IR35)
Duration – Initially six months but likely to extend
To qualify the Lead Solutions Architect (Infrastructure) must have a demonstrable background within infrastructure solutions architecture, a good understanding of the MS stack (O365, Azure, Hyper-V), disaster recovery and backup solutions and information security technologies, an understanding of voice technology principles and Cisco, have excellent vendor management experience, be able to demonstrate strong senior stakeholder competencies to Cx0 level (including the ability to communicate technical designs to senior non-technical stakeholders) and have experience of M&A/divestment, global migrations and/or greenfield environments.
Any knowledge of the manufacturing industry sector is desirable but not essential.
Your assignment will be to join a newly divested company which is in the process of establishing IT infrastructure capabilities to support its global manufacturing business. The Solutions Architect (Infrastructure) is required to help shape the infrastructure landscape including the MS stack and associated technologies, network set up, disaster recovery and backup solutions.
The assignment is initially for six-months is likely to extend.
