Contract Software Engineer | Gloucestershire | Remote | £350 – £450 Outside IR35 

Are you ready to join our client’s team as a Software Engineer and help develop cutting-edge control systems for the automotive sector? 

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and integrating cutting-edge technology into real-time embedded control systems. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the evaluation, development, testing, and documentation for all project work.
  • Conduct research to identify potential strategies and select the most fitting solutions.
  • Write algorithms in C/C++ and establish comprehensive test plans and cases to validate them against simulated results.
  • Produce in-depth technical documentation that supports the proposed solutions.

Software Engineer Requirements: 

  • Have experience defining and verifying functional, performance, and safety requirements for control systems
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Knowledge of developing commercial embedded software for control systems
