Business Analyst – IT / Data

Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a global brand for an experienced Business Analyst. The successful candidate will join the investments department within the organisation and will be responsible for major IT projects, including system implementations and data integrations. Our client have a flexible approach to home working but will require visits into the London HQ twice per week.

The main purpose for this position will be to provide Business Analysis services to support the ongoing programme of work to improve business solutions and work cross functionally across the teams to ensure effective communication and delivery.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Gathering and managing documentation of business requirements
• Engaging with stakeholders, acting as the bridge between technology and business requirements
• Analyse business processes effectively by identifying alternative solutions, assessing feasibility, and recommending new approaches
• Develop test scripts and run testing against documented requirements
• Supporting the programme with delivery to achieve goals in terms of time and budgets
• Be the owner of the risk and control environment
• Exercise cost control and manage expenditure to work within the agreed operating budget
• Ensure adherence to the companies compliance policies

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Experience of working within an investments or financial services environment
• Experience of SaaS implementation and data integration projects
• Involvement in the development of a wide variety of IT projects using industry standard development tools and products
• Gathering, validating and managing the documentation of business requirements
• Engaging with stakeholders, bridging the technical and business requirements
• Developing test scripts and running testing against documented requirements
• Experience of working with and dealing with external service supplier companies.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build relationships
• Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to users at all levels of the organisation where negotiation and influence may be important

Contract Details:

• £550 – £600 per day
• Outside IR35
• Hybrid working – 2 days per week in the Central London office
• 6 months (possibility of extension)
